Zak's philosophy of color — whether highlights or single process — is that
it should always work in harmony with the hair cut and the client's skin tone.
The cut, in fact, is perhaps the most important part of the equation.

"As as stylist, it's my job to listen to my client and then give them the right
cut that will result not only in the look they want, but one that will continue
to look good as it grows out," he says. "My clients are really amazing in
that we work together to achieve the best results."
